ADDRESS REAL PROBLEMS THAT YOUNG PEOPLE FACE – EVERJOICE SPEAKS

The Global Director Programmes and Engagement, Everjoice, explains the need to actively plan and address world problems which are affecting the youth.

She explained that most youth are passionately seeking solutions to their problems; the youth does not care about the kind module that participants develop.  However, the youth will embrace and support interventions, programs and projects which are directed towards their needs as youth.

Kicking off ActionAid's Youth Community of Interest

On June 22nd-26th 2019, 35 ActionAiders consisting of Global Platform staff, Activistas, Youth Working Group representatives, Youth Programmes Officers to Heads of Programmes from 20 different country programmes, and General Secretariat, got together to kick off ActionAids Youth Community of Interest.

Who we are
We are a community of young people within ActionAid and its allies who share a common interest and desire in youth engagement, programming and activism. We are working for and with young people on shared objectives and methodologies to convene, learn, share knowledge and generate alternatives to advance a progressive youth agenda.
